Brad Peterson is a multidisciplinary designer with a focus on video, media, and immersive environments for performance and experiences.

Brad’s work has been seen on Broadway, off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally with a focus on new musicals, plays, and music performance.

Broadway work includes co-designing the new musical Sing Street, designing the 2016 revival of Cats, and Larry David’s sold out new play Fish in the Dark.

Creating immersive installations for art and experience, Brad was a Senior Designer of the new water feature art installation for LaGuardia Airport’s new Terminal B, and co-designed the Park Avenue Armory’s 2018 Gala The Indigo Ball with Katy Tucker, and co-production designed Solange’s 2016 Saturday Night Live performance.

As an associate designer, Brad has collaborated with designers on Broadway shows including the revival of West Side Story with Luke Halls; Flying Over Sunset, Oslo, Junk, and the 2015 Tony Award winning projection design of An American in Paris with 59 Productions; as well as collaborating on many projects with the Metropolitan Opera in NYC.

Recent projects off-Broadway include the new musicals A Sign of the Times, Broadway Bounty Hunter and Red Roses Green Gold, and the new plays Corruption, and Actually We’re Fucked. International work includes the new Chinese opera Encounter and several seasons collaborating with Stratford Festival, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.

Brad has collaborated with FX Networks and Amazon Studios to help create immersive fan activations for their respective hit properties Trust and Good Omens, and with GSW NY on the award winning immersive escape room promoting the launch of AMGEN Biotechnology’s Repatha.

Projection mapping projects include the 2016 celebration Illuminate Salem in collaboration with designer Norman Coates and Light Project, as well as the projection mapping of the South Portico of The White House for the 2015 Halloween Party, hosted by President Barack Obama and Michele Obama.

Additionally, Brad has been a proud member of the projection design team of the yearly fundraiser Broadway Bares since 2013.
